Frequently Asked Questions

1. What can I do if I cannot access the Internet?

Answer: 1) Please confirm that the hardware connection is correct, whether the corresponding WAN and LAN lights are on, and whether the WAN and LAN lights are blinking (flashing indicates data transmission) to ensure the connection is valid. 2) In the bridge mode, whether the Internet can be accessed normally by dialing or other actual Internet access on the PC. If you can't get online:

Please confirm that the PPP dialup software has been properly installed and completed.

If can dial successfully, but still can't access the Internet, please confirm that the browser's proxy server settings are correct, and should be set to not use a proxy server;

 Please try to log in to multiple websites to confirm that it is not caused by a website server failure;

 Please try to disconnect the dial-up connection and dial again after 5 minutes.

3) If the Internet can be connected normally in the bridge mode, the route mode cannot:

 uses the "ping" command to test whether the network connection between the computer and the terminal is normal. The IP address of the terminal defaults to "192.168.1.1";

 If the terminal obtains WANQIP by dialing, please confirm that the correct username and password are entered, and the WAN successfully obtains the IP address.

2. Why can't the WLAN connect?

Answer: 1) Confirm that the WLAN switch is turned on and the WIFI light on the device panel is lit.

2) Check if the wireless network card settings are correct, and check if your network name, encryption method and key are consistent with the settings of the terminal device.

3. Why can my computer and terminal establish a wireless connection, but the wireless signal is weak, or the wireless signal is unstable?

Answer: 1) There may be strong magnetic fields nearby, or radio waves may interfere with the propagation of wireless networks. Try to keep the terminal and computer away from appliances with strong magnetic fields or strong electric fields.

2) Blockages such as cement walls and wooden walls can affect the wireless signal transmission effect of wireless networks. It is recommended to choose an open place when installing and using, so that there is no obstruction between the computer and the device.

3) The user computer is too far away from the terminal device. Try to bring your computer closer to the terminal. 4) Thunderstorm weather will affect the effectiveness of wireless networks.
